family during the reign of King James. Walter Craig, by occupation a weaver,
married Jane McLean, a sister of Robert McLean, a great fighter and also a
sister of Joseph McLean a horse man and hunter. Came to America in 1791 in West
Middletown, Washington County, PA.

GASS; Daughters; JEAN; ISABELLA; MARTHA; 3 grandchildren: MARGARET, WM. and
PATRICK GASS. He names "my brother JOHN McCLANE and my brother JAMES
McCLANE." RICHARD McLEAN sold the land left him by his father to ALEXANDER
McKEEHAN. May 2, 1792. The Census of 1790 shows the family of RICHARD McLEAN
